Mesotherapy is a therapy introduced by Dr. Michel Pistor whose motto was: “inject a little, a few times, in the right place”.
Indeed, mesotherapy consists in injecting subcutaneously (intraepidermally, intradermally or hypodermally) a low dose of certain products (anti-inflammatory, homeopathic solution, etc.) at the site where the disorder and/or pain is felt. The product(s) thus injected will play on the principle of diffusion to penetrate gently and deeply into the underlying tissues and then act on them.
Mesotherapy is often used in pain medicine, sports medicine and aesthetics.
